2023: Year-end Reflection

"True life is lived when tiny changes occur."

~ Leo Tolstoy

2023… it’s hard to believe that we are at the end of another year - and yet - here we are. This year, I’ve focused on the subtle yet powerful impact of small, gradual shifts in my journey toward my goals. For me, it’s been a year where I’ve been deep in the practice of patience - being intentional in rushing less and taking time to reflect as I bring my intentions into focus. As you consider this reflective exercise, maybe you can join me and celebrate the incremental steps and small, powerful moments when you witnessed your growth, progress, or movement in life.

This exercise provides a framework for reflection - encouraging you to take some time, draw within, reflect upon the days past, and imagine what may lie ahead. What have I learned? Where is the evidence of change and growth? Work the parts that resonate, add in meaningful things, and allow yourself to explore yourself—from the inside out—as we prepare for another year of change and growth.

Some have found this a great practice to share with a partner. Answer the questions independently and then set aside some quiet time to review with each other. Come up with a shared plan that integrates what you both seek… and think about how you will support each other toward individual and shared goals.

You can also share this link with anyone you know who might enjoy working through an exercise like this - there’s no obligation - only an opportunity to reflect on what’s come to be in the past year and cast attention toward what the future might hold.

The form is provided to help organize your reflection, and all responses are kept strictly confidential. Your email address is collected as part of this exercise only to have a copy of the results sent to you and will not be used for any other purpose without your prior consent.

Google Forms allows you to save your work as you go along—with “next” and “back” buttons at the end of each section. If you use a Google account to complete, your progress on this form will be automatically saved for 30 days - so you can work across devices or take a break.
